Big Joe
Carter Burwell and Hearn Gadbois joined Robert Eeb in 1992 to form the power trio that would come to be known as Big Joe. Steve Elson (clarinet and saxophones) and Anne DeMarinis (accordion) soon joined.
Big Joe played countless club and concert dates in New York City including Fez, Lincoln Center, Knitting Factory, La Mama, Joyce Theater, Whitney Museum, Buddha Bar, galleries in Chelsea and Soho as well as fashion shows in Tribeca, and West coast venues including Esalen in Big Sur, the Ford Theater and Largo in Hollywood and Disney Hall’s REDCAT Theater and the Mark Taper Auditorium in Los Angeles.
